Hii everyone How are y’alls experiences with dating apps? It seems that for me it’s never past the 2nd date.

I recently also joined some dating apps (I mean gay dating, I’m male and 22) and I talked with some guys, we really had nice chats for 2-3 weeks in which we exchanged instagrams, talked about university, hobbies and so on. I’m a pretty talkative person so like every time I find some common subject to talk about, so I guess chatting wasn’t a problem at all.

The worst part tho is that for example, I was talking with a guy for like a week, and we were getting along so well ( we both even liked persian calligraphy, ik this is a weird hobby 🤣). He asked me to go out for coffee, and we did, and actually had a really nice time. After like 2 hours, when it was time to leave, he said that he loved it and should definitely go out another time as well- which I agreed to and I was quite happy. But after I got home, of course I messaged the guy, like we did in the past few days but he became like so dry, and after a few messages stopped caring at all. I tried on many occasions in the next 3 weeks to talk again, even asked if he even wants to talk anymore, because it’s okay if he just has other priorities or something but he only made excuses that he’s busy, after I which also gave up. It’s strange that people can’t just say they don’t see themselves going forward with a person these days, instead just becoming dry and wasting time. Also since I’m like 6’10 a loooot of guys just message me out of curiosity i guess but tbh most of the dates I had from dating apps ended up like this ( well I didn’t even went out with that many guys, max 5 dates, but that’s how it seemed after all)
